OutSphere 360+ Interactive Imaging provides a full 360x360x360 experience. When we talk about Spin Photography we generally see imaging of the front, sides and rear of the product.
Spin Photography could also be described as standard rotation, where photographs are taken then stitched together to give a rotating image, which can be turned from left to right or right to left. This is undoubtedly an improvement on a flat image on a website where customers have no option to interact with the product.
However, OutSphere in our opinion and that of our customers, offers an even better experience. It differs from Spin Photography in that we photograph at multi axis points, including over the top and bottom of the product. Rather than sit the object on a turntable, we have a system that suspends the product which allows the camera to move all around the product, taking shots from various angles, please see the video on our home page. When stitched this provides an interactive image that you can literally turn and look at from any angle, as you would in a retail shop environment. In other words it’s like holding the object in your hands.
When customers explore your product at retail, they touch it, turn it, and examine it closely from every angle. Why not provide the same experience to online shoppers? With 360 degree spin, you can do that and more.
From Adobe Scene7
We firmly believe that Spin Photography gives online customers an enhanced shopping experience but it somehow lacks the comprehensive, immersive benefits that OutSphere Interactive Imaging offers. Many products have features that will benefit from a full 360/3D movement, areas where customers would like to have better access, to aid them in their buying decision. Having the ability to look all over and zoom in, surely mirrors the true life experience of physically handling the product in the shop.
It is safe to say that OutSphere’s 360+ Interactive Imaging is like Spin Photography, it’s a cousin or close relative of Spin Photography, but it is not Spin Photography!
Take the time to view the difference and we hope you will agree that OutSphere offers us the next generation of Spin Photography, taking it to a new level of true 360 with full customer interactivity and enjoyment.
